We take water safety very seriously at Ocean Church. Here are our 10 community guidelines to help us have fun in the water

we recommend using the met weather app for weather and wind times

The watersports library will be open in the morning of Ocean Church. We recommend borrowing all the equipment your household needs for Ocean church.

As a household, talk through water safety and how you are going to get in the water safely. Get to grips with the RNLI’s core messages in this booklet.

We try and do everything together. Parents are responsible for their own children in and out of the water

If you aren’t able to look after your children, you need to have made an agreement with an appropriate adult before they can get in the water

we won’t be paddling if the wind is greater than 10mph

Everyone needs to wear a bouyancy aid on the water

One adult on every board. Paddles will be distributed once a craft is agreed

We will have adults marking the paddle boundaries

We are considering becoming an affiliated club with paddle uk. This will eventually mean we will be able to insure our water based activities.
